Change Management
All projects involve elements of change; change to processes, technology, markets and the organisation. Regardless of the type of change involved, the elements of change need to be effectively managed to ensure that the expected outcomes are realised. Change Management is therefore the structured approach to transitioning from one state to a desired future state.
With any large scale change, many diverse groups will be impacted. A key element of Change Management is effective stakeholder engagement and management combined with appropriate communications. Because all projects involve change, Change Management must be one of the core components considered in project planning. Without it, projects will fail.
