Assessment
As part of PMWorks’ holistic approach, we employ a baseline and gap analysis tool used by organisations around the world to help understand where they are today in terms of competency as a group and identify where each individual within the group is particularly strong or in need of assistance.
How Assessment Works
The web-based assessment is a three part assessment:
1. Experience
2. Knowledge Assessment
These multiple choice questions are based on the BABOK and cover the topics of:
- Enterprise Analysis.
- Requirements Planning and Management.
- Requirements Elicitation.
- Requirements Analysis and Documentation.
- Requirements Communication.
- Solution Assessment and Validation.
3. Skills Assessment
This competency-based assessment uses a selection of units from the Australian National Qualifications Framework and includes the following topics:
- Gather data to identify business requirements.
- Translate business needs into technical requirements.
- Model data processes.
- User Acceptance Testing.
At the completion of the skills assessment, specific training course and mentoring recommendations for each individual are made to the client organisation as part of the corporate reporting.
